"Dealing with SmartKits from start to end was a really great experience. When comparing their pricing to other competitors SmartKits was by far the most affordable and for a more superior Australian made product. What really set Smartkits apart for me was the flexibility in their design process. This was an important aspect for our project as I wanted to use existing posts that were already in place. The posts were 180mm round x 5mm thick and SmartKits were able to accommodate the roof design to suit. The connection to the house was also not standard as the receiver channel was needing to connect to polystyrene blocks (100m thick). Mick was fantastic in coming up with a solution for the connection to the trusses. Mick was also very supportive and helped with any queries through the build process which was important as this was my first build project of this scale. The roof now provides an undercover living area with cool relief from the heat in the summer, and an undercover option outside during the winter on those rainy days.
