Smartkits Australia has been running a Photo Voting Competition since 2020. It’s always been a great way to showcase some of the amazing DIY projects our customers have built using our 100% Bluescope Steel DIY Decks, Patios and Carport kits.
2020 - We had 40 Entries
2021 -We had 90 Entries
2022 - We had 125 Entries with a 1st prize of $25,000
2023 - This year we have had an overwhelming response, and have capped the entries at 130.
We have a $100,000 prize pool and 1st prize is $50,000 followed by $10,000 for 2nd and two lots of $5,000 for the 3rd place winners. $10,000 will be given away to one lucky voter as well. The rest of the prize money will be allocated to special categories or promotions over the competition.
Our judges this year are none other than Scott Challen Founder and Director of Smartkits Australia & Aimee Stanton (The Lady Tradie). We welcome Aimee back after her appearance in 2022.
There are 2 ways to become a finalist this year
1. The top 10 Entries with the most votes will go through to the finalist round.
2. A panel of industry professionals will select another 10 entries that they feel deserve to be a finalist.
The 20 Finalist will then be scored by Scott and Aimee. The entries with the highest total scores will be awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in that order.
The winners will be announced on Friday 1st of September 2023.
You can vote on as many structures as you like. Australian residents ONLY can vote.
You can vote only ONCE on each structure
Multiple votes with different email addresses from NON business emails with the same IP Address will be deleted - Please don't try and use multiple email addresses to place your votes.
No matter how many structures you vote on - You will only be entered into the draw once.
Voting ends at 9am on 31st August 2023
